My name is Kevin. I’m a grown man, and I love cats. I travel the world and take pictures with usually agreeable cats. Fluffy, scraggly, rascally, sweet, sneaky, or temperamental, lots of kitties need pettins. god gives everyone a superpower. i have uncanny kitty connection skills. kevin with cats began as a wildly popular and viral facebook album. literally dozens of likes.

I’ve only had one cat in my life, Mookie. We found Mookie at the spca animal shelter when I was six years old. She was full-grown. Mookie and I spent twenty-one years together. She walked with me to the bus stop; waited for me to come home from school; watched my friends and I play basketball and football; and she used to sleep on my head. She liked to sleep on her back and have twitchy kitty adventure dreams.

She was the most angelic and loving friend anyone could ask for. The last thing I did before leaving America at the end of 2013 was take her to the vet. She lived a happy and long life full of love and causing carnage to small animals. She’s probably happy to not take baths anymore.

No amount of Kevin with Cats can ever fill the void left behind in our family. I dedicated my book Your Ticket to the Forty Acres to her. May her compassion light our world. Namaste
